When the clock struck 12, did you think of New Year's resolutions you may have made? Let me suggest a unique resolution to add a few weeks later to go with the perennials such as losing weight or stopping smoking.
Did you know that President George W. Bush signed the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act into law? Of course you did. But did you know about it immediately? Or did you read about it in the newspaper or hear about it on the evening news (with the particular slant that, say, the New York Times or Peter Jennings would have given to it) like most everyone else in America? If you answered yes to the latter question, then we have something special for you!
We call it the National Right to Life "Hot List." Time has demonstrated that this from-us-to-you feature has become without question the finest, quickest, most useful way ever created for grassroots pro-lifers to stay up to date on all that is happening in the Movement.
When you join the Hot List you'll receive congressional action alerts, information regarding pro-life events (for instance, the Proudly Pro-Life Awards Dinner, the March for Life, and NRLC's annual convention), the latest press releases about NRLC-sponsored legislation, and much more. To join just go to www.nrlc.org/join_our_mailing_list.htm, type in your e-mail address, and click the "Subscribe" button.
And for those who have heard about or only occasionally read "Today's News & Views," you can have NRLC's daily editorial delivered right to your inbox! (There is a separate e-mail list at the same www.nrlc.org/join_our_mailing_list.htm address.)
It's that easy!
Maybe this year you'll make that additional New Year's resolution. One that will keep you informed of the latest from National Right to Life.
Trust me, this will help make 2004 all you hoped it would be.
