VICE-PRESIDENT DICK CHENEY TO MAKE BRIEF REMARKS AT THE PROUDLY PRO-LIFE AWARDS DINNER IN WASHINGTON, D.C.
Vice President Dick Cheney will be making brief remarks at the National Right to Life Educational Trust Fund’s eleventh annual Proudly Pro-Life Awards Dinner. The dinner will be held on Tuesday, April 20, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at the Willard Inter-Continental Hotel in Washington, D.C. A reception will be held at 6:00 p.m.
The Proudly Pro-Life Award highlights the diversity of the pro-life people and honors those with a long-standing commitment to courageously defend innocent human life. This year, the recipient is Mr. Pat Boone. Mr. Boone is an internationally acclaimed recording artist, composer, actor, author, and spokesman for numerous charities.
In addition to the vice president, attendees include Senators Sam Brownback (R-KS) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC), along with Congressmen Chris Smith (R-NJ) and Mike Ferguson (R-NJ), among others.
Past honorees include actor, lawyer, and writer Ben Stein, actress Jennifer O’Neill, actress Margaret Colin, Dr. James Dobson, founder and president of Focus on the Family, Archbishop Renato Martino, Permanent Observer of the Holy See to the United Nations, and the late Robert Casey, former governor of Pennsylvania, among others.
Proceeds from this year’s dinner will be used to help fund National Right to Life Educational Trust Fund’s continuing educational efforts to change lives and save lives.
