National Teens for Life is our generation's response to the abortion holocaust. More than 30 million children have been killed since the U.S. Supreme Court legalized abortion in 1973. They were our brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces and nephews. They could have been anyone and anything. They would have been our friends. It is in their memory that we work to put an end to abortion.
Since its beginning in 1985, NTL has worked to change the way America views life. We have grown to include members from all fifty states. Some of our numerous activities include speaking in schools and to youth groups, volunteering in crisis pregnancy centers, peer counseling, debating, and helping adult right-to-life groups work to pass pro-life legislation.
Our yearly NTL Convention is held during the summer months, in conjunction with the National Right to Life Convention. This convention offers a variety of workshops by both teen and adult speakers, a balance between fun and education, and the opportunity to meet and share with pro-life teen leaders from across the country.
NTL is a vital and active organization, growing in numbers every day. Teens are America's future. While it is true that we are tomorrow's leaders, we believe that we can make a difference today as well. We can have an impact on our world now! We have caught the dream of returning to a truly humanitarian society where all life is respected and protected. With the enthusiasm and energy of our youth we can do it! We believe that life is a celebration, and we, as teens, know how to celebrate it to the fullest. We are one of the most positive and upbeat forces in the world today, and we are ready to take on the challenge of making our generation 100% pro-life.
Our parents' generation gave us Roe vs. Wade and legalized abortion-on-demand. It is up to us to reverse our country's trend toward death and destruction. By working together we can, and will, restore a basic respect for life in America, as well as the world. The abortion generation is fighting back, and through dedication and perseverance, we will win!
