New Print Advertisements Available From NRLC

In recognition of the 25th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision, new print advertisements are now available from National Right to Life.

Two of these advertisements were created by Kinsey Advertising, an agency in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Kinsey and Suzy Caruth, the owners and creative directors of the agency, have much more than a financial interest in doing work for National Right to Life. Both are staunch supporters of NRLC and want to use their talents to protect those threatened by abortion, infanticide, and euthanasia.

"We wanted to come up with a new way of presenting the truth of the pro-life movement," Suzy Caruth told NRL News. She added that the term "pro-choice" was coined by advertising people, and for years the pro-abortion movement has had the advantage of slick advertising. The Caruths want to present the message of the pro-life movement in an appealing, professional manner that is of the same caliber as pro-abortion advertising.

The first advertisement deals directly with the 25th anniversary of Roe, pointing out that a quarter-decade of legal abortion has failed to be the predicted "cure" for social problems such as child abuse and teen pregnancy. Instead, we are faced with societal evils no one would have imagined in 1973, including partial-birth abortion and an increasing acceptance of assisted suicide.

The second advertisement, which discusses partial-birth abortion, features a chilling graphic paired with the headline, "It used to be only cowards stabbed their victims in the back." Kinsey Caruth told NRL News, "I'm still completely freaked out that some who call themselves doctors could even do this. I wanted a headline that conveyed what partial-birth abortion really is."

The two advertisements produced by Kinsey Advertising can be seen on pages 10 and 11 of this edition of NRL News.
