As the NRLC web site continues to expand its online information base, it is important that pro-lifers be able to successfully navigate www.nrlc.org so that they can take advantage of all the available resources. This article is intended to point you in the right direction, whatever your particular need may be.

One of the most important benefits of the web page is that pro-lifers can now directly download material which previously they needed to write to NRLC to request and then wait to receive it in the mail. Two areas that have been affected in particular are online brochures and factsheets.

The information contained within the online material is always accurate, up to date, and useful for spreading the pro-life message. Best of all, it can be accessed immediately and for free!

We'll now turn to some of the information available at www.nrlc.org and explain how to easily locate it.

Begin by simply clicking on the yellow box at the top of the web page entitled "Issue Info." Then, scrolling down, choose "Factsheets" (the fifth item) and click. [The direct URL is www.nrlc.org/onlinebrochures/Downloadables/index.htm]

Once on the "Factsheets" page you have the option of downloading and printing material from one of four sources. (All of the brochures are available in PDF format for quick downloading and printing.)

Under Brochures, you'll find informational color brochures, such as "What the Nurse Saw," one nurse's eyewitness account of the horror of a partial-birth abortion.

Directly below the Brochures link is the Periodicals link. There you will find Choose Life, written by NRLC's outstanding Outreach Department, Sacred Gift, the newsletter of Native Americans for Life, and Uniting for Life, produced by the National Pro-life Religious Council.

Next on the list of resources is Tri-Fold Pamphlets. These pamphlets are formatted in two different ways, one for reading online, the other for printing.

Some of the pamphlets you can read and/or download include "American Victims of Abortion"; "Their Lives - - A Single Issue?"; and "Abortion: The Hard Cases." Also available in pamphlet form is "Now More Than Ever," which details the founding, purpose, and ongoing activities of the National Right to Life Committee.

The final category is Factsheets, invaluable information sheets that are useful for distribution and quick reference. Some of the factsheets include "Planned Parenthood: The Real Story"; "Abortion: The Basics"; "Stem Cell Research"; and "RU486."

This is by no means an inclusive list of all the valuable information available at www.nrlc.org. In upcoming editions of National Right to Life News, we will continue to describe other NRLC web resources of which you may not be aware. In the meantime, we encourage you to explore the web site on your own and see all the informational resources available to you with just the click of your mouse.
