National Right to Life has long been the leader in providing the public with accurate and timely news analysis and commentary on issues affecting the pro-life movement. Through resources such as National Right to Life News, NRLC's radio program Pro-Life Perspective, and the preeminent pro-life source on the Internet, www.nrlc.org, we have been effective at spreading the pro-life message and providing grassroots activists with the educational tools they need to reach out to their communities.
Now, National Right to Life is pleased to announce there's a new kid on the block joining these pro-life educational powerhouses. On May 1, we launched Perspectives on Life - - a new series of public service announcements designed to educate the public on the broad range of life issues.
Perspectives on Life are available in 30- and 60-second formats and allow radio stations the flexibility of broadcasting the pro-life message whenever broadcast time is available. The initial release, which is being mailed to all Christian radio station in the country, contains 16 non-time-sensitive public service announcements that can be aired at any time.
Perspectives on Life will be issued on CD to subscribers on a quarterly basis. Each quarterly update will contain new announcements to supplement all previous issues - - ultimately giving stations a wide variety of pro-life messages that they can play year round! In addition, when special action is required, special supplements will be sent out to help activate grassroots pro-lifers.
You can help National Right to Life spread the word about Perspectives on Life. Call your local Christian radio station and tell it to watch for the media kit containing all the information it needs to begin airing Perspectives on Life. Encourage the station to help spread the pro-life message by subscribing to Perspectives on Life.
And, while you're at it, encourage your local Christian broadcasters to become pro-life powerhouses. Talk to them and encourage them to subscribe to Pro-Life Perspective, our daily five-minute radio commentary hosted by NRLC President Dr. Wanda Franz. Pro-Life Perspective has touched the hearts of millions of listeners nationwide since it was first broadcast in 1985.
