University Faculty For Life To Meet At Georgetown

The 13th annual meeting of University Faculty for Life (UFL)will be held at Georgetown University from May 30 to June 1. UFL is an interdisciplinary, non-denominational organization of pro-life faculty, both active and retired, at colleges, universities, and seminaries.

Speakers at this year's conference include Dr. Wanda Franz, president of National Right to Life; Richard Doerflinger of the National Conference of Catholic Bishops; Kevin Fitzgerald, S.J., who holds the Lauler Chair in Ethics at Georgetown University; and Dr. Jeff Koloze of the English Department at Clark State Community College. The conference is open to interested pro-life faculty and their spouses.

Interested faculty are encouraged to propose papers for presentation at the conference. Proposals should be sent to Dr. Keith Cassidy, Department of History, University of Guelph, Guelph, Ontario, N1G 2W1, Canada, or e-mailed to him at kcassidy@uoguelph.ca. Papers presented at UFL are considered for publication in Life and Learning, a peer-reviewed annual publication.
