The great victory we've just witnessed in the 2002 elections could only have occurred because of your steadfast support for the movement, because of your hard work, and your prayers. May God bless all of you with a blessed holiday season and New Year.

Your prayerful support for NRLC helped pull us out of what could have been a financially ruinous situation. Earlier this year, we faced a shortfall of some $900,000; fallout from the 9-11 attacks, the anthrax mail scare in Washington, D.C., and a slowed economy. At the time, we did not know if we would be able to fund all of our lifesaving programs, much less raise enough funds in the NRLPAC to win the elections.

But as you will read inside, polls show that NRL PAC was so successful in getting the pro-life message out that an astounding 40 percent of voters in key states recall receiving a election-related message from NRL PAC!

Your generosity to the National Right to Life Committee general fund has helped us make up much of last year's shortfall; but unfortunately, not all of it. If we are to have the resources to take advantage of the new opportunity to pass pro-life legislation in the 108th Congress, we will again need your help. Please consider a special year-end gift to National Right to Life to allow us to fully organize and educate the public about our new legislation. Our success could mean the saving of many lives.
