Attention: Proudly Pro-Life Awards Dinner Attendees

Because of the temporary closing of the Brentwood Post Office in Washington, D.C., some Business Reply Mail destined for the National Right to Life Committee and the National Right to Life Educational Trust Fund has been delayed.

It appears a substantial amount of mail sent to Washington, D.C., during October, November, December, and January has been delayed for decontamination, or held at the Brentwood postal facility. If you believe you sent a contribution during this time (particularly during our membership drive), but have not received a receipt or canceled check, please let us know by phoning 202-626-8813.

It also appears some mail sent to our Educational Trust Fund between March 5 and 25 has not arrived at the National Right to Life office. Anyone who sent reservations for the Proudly Pro- Life Awards Dinner during this time should contact the NRL office at the above number so we can be sure to have your reservation in time for the dinner. We thank all National Right to Life members for the patience they have shown during the period of mail delays in Washington and during the installation of the phone system at our new address. Our supporters have been very understanding. Some have had pledge payments delayed, and have called to question why they have received reminder notices. We want you to know we are working diligently with postal authorities to make sure the worst problems have been corrected. As stated here before, bulk mailings from National Right to Life are not sent from Washington, D.C., but from postal facilities in Virginia, Maryland, Ohio, Arizona, Montana, and other sites. Delivery of materials from National Right to Life should be unaffected by the problems at the Washington, D.C., Brentwood postal facility. National Right to Life's new address is: 512 10th St., N.W., Washington, D.C. 20004.Thank you for your continued support. It truly does save lives!
