Indians for Life - -

A Success in the Making

Indians for Life (IFL), a new pro-life outreach to the Native American community, has experienced tremendous success in the last two years. IFL has presented workshops at two Indian conferences; distributed thousands of pro-life brochures, pamphlets, newsletters, and newspapers; and has recently begun publishing its own newsletter, Sacred Gift.

Working closely with the Outreach Department of NRLC and the Bureau of Catholic Indian Missions, Indians for Life is reaching tens of thousands of Americans who identify with the Native American Community.

"It is truly amazing how pro-life our Native People are," said Clementine Little Hawk Hernandez, director of Indians for Life. "I started IFL but never dreamed it would be so enthusiastically accepted."

"I truly hope many people who share a Native American heritage, or who simply want to help us, will join Indians for Life," she added. "You don't have to be an Indian to join Indians for Life; all you need is a desire to help us with our outreach. By joining Indians for Life you will by helping us reach more Native Americans and you will experience the joy of learning about the traditions, beliefs, and struggles of America's first residents."
