Trust Fund Switches to Human Service Charities of America #2844
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR CFC & OTHER
WORKPLACE CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTORS

By Marie Hagan

Although we've been involved in this for years, perhaps you are unaware that the National Right to Life Educational Trust Fund typically generates hundreds of thousands of dollars annually for pro-life education through the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) and a number of state and private sector campaigns.

These resources are immensely important. Proceeds are shared with NRL's state and local affiliate groups, and are put to good use underwriting vitally important educational pro-life endeavors.

Because these resources are so critical, it is important to announce to all federal, state, and private sector employees that this year the National Right to Life Educational Trust Fund has changed federation membership for all workplace employee campaigns.

For federal employees, CFC activity takes place in the fall. Employees will now find the NRL Educational Trust Fund listed in their 2000 workplace campaign brochures under the federation Human Service Charities of America (HSCA). Our new agency number is 2844.

For employees giving to state and private sector workplace campaigns, you will find the National Right to Life Educational Trust fund listed under the federation Share America. Our new agency number is 2844.

As many of you know, the CFC is a workplace campaign created by the Office of Personnel Management as a venue for federal employees to contribute to their favorite charity. Others may also be aware that many states and a growing number of private corporations now offer their own workplace campaigns.

Under our new federation, the National Right to Life Educational Trust Fund is applying for participation in the following states' employee campaigns: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Montana, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin.

The private sector campaigns the NRL Educational Trust Fund is applying to under HSCA are Adobe, Advanced Relocation Management, Attachmate, Budget Car Rental/ Sales, CNA Insurance, Credit Union of the Pacific, Dell Computers, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research, Group Health/ Kaiser Permanente, Immunex, Manasha Corp., Microsoft, National Instruments, Northern Life Insurance, NW Aids Foundation, Orion Consulting, Pike Place Market Foundation, QFC, Quickfish Media, Rockey Company, Samsung Semiconductor, Sanofi Diagnostics Pastuer, Solidstate Controls, 3COM, Wall Data, and Write Stuff.

So, whether you are a federal, state, or private sector employee, note that the National Right to Life Educational Trust Fund will be listed under a different federation than it was in the past. The new federation is Human Service Charities of America (HSCA) and the new agency number is #2844.

Your contributions are deeply needed and appreciated for the continuing educational efforts to help the plight of the unborn, the elderly, and the handicapped.
