TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE, Some pro-lifers dream of the "knock-out" punch: A pro-life Congress passes a human life amendment and then... Well, then comes the really hard part, the slow march through the state legislatures to ratify the amendment to the Constitution. Let's be realistic, it will not be a quick knock-out punch. The ultimate goal of the right-to-life movement is effective constitutional protection of all human life. Whatever the venue of achieving this--through a constitutional amendment or a favorable Supreme Court decision reversing Roe v. Wade or still some other way--success will come only if our effort is relentless, tactically smart, and strategically sound. Complete
