Since the early 1980s, the National Right to Life Educational Trust Fund has benefited tremendously from the generous charitable contributions of federal government employees who participate in the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). The CFC is a federal government-operated workplace campaign in which each fall employees can designate the organization they want their donations to go to based largely on names found in the campaign brochure.
In more recent years, other charitable opportunities have opened up through which pro-lifers can help NRLC's Educational Trust Fund. For example, there are now workplace campaigns for state governmental employees as well as private sector corporate employees. These have become available through America's Charities, a federation in which the Educational Trust Fund participates.
How can you help? If you or someone you know has an employee giving campaign in the workplace, government, or private sector, look for the National Right to Life Educational Trust Fund, pledge number 0447 under the federation of America's Charities in the campaign brochure this fall. All workplace giving campaign activities take place sometime between the end of August and mid- December. If we are not listed, and should the brochure provide a "write-in" option, you may write in NRL Educational Trust Fund #0447.
In addition to the CFC campaign for federal employees, other workplace employee venues through which you can designate your charitable contribution to NRL Educational Trust Fund include:
