National Right to Life Endorses Darryl Glenn for Senate in Colorado

WASHINGTON, D.C. – National Right to Life announced its endorsement of Darryl Glenn (R) for election to the U.S. Senate.

“Darryl Glenn has a strong commitment to the right to life and unborn children. He will be a fighter for the unborn in the U.S. Senate,” said Karen Cross, National Right to Life political director. “We are proud to support Darryl Glenn to replace his radical pro-abortion opponent, the current Senator Michael Bennet, who has voted against unborn babies every chance he got. Bennet has a 0% pro-life voting record in the Senate.”

Darryl Glenn supports pro-life measures that protect mothers and their unborn children, in stark contrast with his opponent, Senator Michael Bennet, whose pro-abortion extremism is demonstrated by his co-sponsorship of S. 217, a proposed federal law to invalidate virtually all state and federal limits on abortion.

During the current Congress, Bennet even voted against the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, and he voted to allow government funding of abortion providers.

Darryl Glenn is committed to legislation that will protect unborn babies. Darryl Glenn will block federal funding to the nation’s largest abortion provider, and he will vote to prevent taxpayer funding of abortions.

National Right to Life, the nation’s oldest and largest right to life group, has one affiliate in each state. The affiliate in Colorado is Colorado Citizens for Life.

The president of Colorado Citizens for Life, Steven Ertelt, stated, “We stand with National Right to Life. Colorado needs a pro-life senator who will protect unborn children from a cruel death by abortion. Darryl Glenn has pledged to do just that.”

Involved in every election since Ronald Reagan’s election to the presidency, National Right to Life Political Action Committee (NRL PAC) was formed in 1979 as the political arm of National Right to Life. Founded in 1968, National Right to Life, the federation of 50 state right-to-life affiliates and more than 3,000 local chapters, is the nation’s oldest and largest grassroots pro-life organization. Recognized as the flagship of the pro-life movement, NRLC works through legislation and education to protect innocent human life from abortion, infanticide, assisted suicide and euthanasia.
