"And the Winner is…."
Part One of ThreeBy Dave

Thanks to every one of you--and there
were many--who took the time to reply to the survey question "In which
format would you like to see Today's News & Views and National Right to Life
News Today?" Before I tell you what you told me, a couple of words of
explanation.
The voting patterns were fascinating.
The eventual winner led by a lot early on, later the results were much
closer, and there were days when virtually all our readers chose one format
over the over. Fascinating.
The two choices included the one you
are seeing today, which begins with a few sentences from each story, and you
are hyperlinked to each of the stories.
The other option was to do one
complete story at a time, with links to other stories at the very bottom.
Each format has/had passionate
advocates. Each format (I learned to my chagrin) had technical issues which
you graciously and kindly pointed out to me. I THINK we have them ironed
out--if not let me know.
Finally, I knew in advance that by
asking, I would be disappointing probably 40% of the respondents. But many
of you anticipated that, telling me, "I prefer 'x,' but if the majority
chooses 'y,' I will read just as faithfully."
So, enough preliminaries. At least for
the immediate future we are staying with this format, the one we have used
for most of the last year.
That was the option you guys chose. I
will occasionally have a week where we will utilize the other format, just
to see whether people's opinions change or stay the same.
Again, thank you, thank you, and thank
you.
Dave
