The Truth About Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid
Part One of Three

Good evening, and thanks once again for reading Today's News & Views. Part Two combines a review of an ugly attack on the imperfect with a sterling defense of our common humanity. Part Three explains the price pro-abortion Democrats are paying for supporting ObamaCare. Over at National Right to Life News Today (www.nationalrighttolifenews.org), there is a feast. There is a lovely story from the USCCB's Respect Life Program. Wesley Smith shows you how deeply the anti-life virus has penetrated in Great Britain. Eileen Haupt celebrates "Down Syndrome Awareness Month." In addition a poll taken by "The Hill" newspaper paints an exciting picture for pro-lifers running for office. Sen. Majority Leader harry Reid (R-Nv.),

When you are playing both ends against the middle, it's essential that neither side knows you are playing them like a Stradivarius. Enter Democrat Harry Reid. Senator Reid is the Majority Leader who is adept at hiding his true colors on abortion. In that sense he is very much like his Democratic predecessor, former Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle, who on many issues, including abortion, was Dr. Jekyll in South Dakota and Mr. Hyde in Washington, D.C.

Reid is running against pro-life Republican Sharron Angle. He is legendary for playing hardball--okay, vicious--politics, and this year is no exception.

NRLC doesn't work that way. We deal in facts. We believe that if given half a chance, the truth will win out. That's why NRLC has produced "Harry Reid on Abortion, And Other Pro-Life Issues." You can read it by clicking on this hyperlink. (http://www.nrlc.org/HarryReidonAbortion.pdf)

It's a brief but telling read. Let me quote you the opening.

"What's Wrong with Harry Reid on Abortion? Harry Reid sometimes claims to be 'prolife.' But leading advocates on both sides of the abortion issue, who have watched Reid up close in Washington, say he is actually in the top ranks of lawmakers who have obstructed pro-life bills and nominees, and advanced pro-abortion bills and nominees, for years."

And, don't forget, along with President Obama, Reid is the author of ObamaCare.

Be sure to pass this along through your social networks. Thanks!
