Life: What we believe influences how we act
Part Two, Part One

Editor’s note. Please send me your thoughts at daveandrusko@hotmail.com.

One of our friends in Minnesota—the home state for my wife and myself—forwarded us a message from Archbishop John C. Nienstedt, of the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis. It appears online at http://thecatholicspirit.com/main.asp?SectionID=14&SubSectionID=14&ArticleID=962&TM=68589.39.

It came with such high praise that I read Archbishop Nienstedt’s message immediately. All of it is fascinating but space allows me to mention just one of his many excellent points.

We must always remember that “caution,” or “limitation” are not words found in pro-abortionists’ vocabulary. There are NEVER enough abortions, either here in the United States or throughout the world. That is one among many reasons pro-abortionists are obsessed with eliminating the Mexico City Policy. They are desperately determined to undermine protective abortion laws in the developing world.

Archbishop Nienstedt’s message brings that closer to home. He reminds his readers that from 2005 to 2006, there was a 5% increase in abortions in Minnesota—“ and a 16 percent increase in the number of abortions performed on minors.”
As the saying goes this is no accident. Planned Parenthood opened two “abortion-feeder ‘express clinics’” in two Metro-area suburbs. They sent out postcards to teenagers promising a full-range of “confidential no-exam services,” including pregnancy testing.
Their card adds, "Stop in and check out our funky jewelry, Mrs. Kelly's teas and cool spa products." Archbishop Nienstedt concludes, “One could call this approach ‘pandering to the immature and naïve.’”

Over 48 million abortions performed in the United States since 1973--with PPFA busy solidifying its role as the largest single provider of abortion. Enough’s enough, right?

Hardly. There is NEVER enough death and misery for the likes of Planned Parenthood.
