The Pro-Life Week in Review
Part Three of ThreeBy Dave
Andrusko
There is a lot to read on Friday, both
at TN&V and at National Right to Life News Today (www.nationalrighttolifenews.org),
so I'll make this summary of the week's news right to the point.

NRLC
President Dr. Wanda Franz |
First, let me thank those who write
about any or all of the articles we ran outlining and summarizing NRLC's
amazingly effective State Legislative Strategy Conference. NRLC is a driving
force behind most state pro-life legislative proposals, so it served many
purposes to have state lobbyists, executive directors, and legislative aides
to come to hotel just outside Washington, DC to learn what are NRLC's
priorities and how NRLC can help its 50 state affiliates. To take such two
examples,
www.nrlc.org/News_and_Views/Dec10/nv120910part2.html and
www.nrlc.org/News_and_Views/Dec10/nv120810.html.
Yesterday we reported on a VERY
important case in Ohio involving the abortion on a 14-year-old girl at a
Planned Parenthood clinic in 2004. After a long, tortuous journey through
the legal system, it appears the girl and her family may get justice. The
suit charges that the clinic broke the law by failing to get parental
consent for their daughter's abortion, not reporting suspected child abuse
to the authorities and not informing the girl of risks and alternatives (http://www.nrlc.org/News_and_Views/Dec10/nv120910.html).
We devoted several articles this week
to the concerted and very sophisticated pro-abortion campaign to use RU-486
much later in pregnancies and make it accessible to small areas--as well as
developing nations (www.nrlc.org/News_and_Views/Dec10/nv120910part3.html).
As always we brought you international
news (

www.nrlc.org/NewsToday/BelgiumWrongfulLife.html; and
www.nrlc.org/News_and_Views/Dec10/nv120610part4.html).
And, unfortunately, there is never any
shortage of bad news about abortionists (www.nrlc.org/News_and_Views/Dec10/nv120610part3.html;
www.nrlc.org/NewsToday/AbortionistReleased.html; and

Thanks for all your correspondence
this week. Have a great weekend!
