Autos for Life : Looking for a Strong Year-End Finish!
Part Two of Two

By David N. O’Steen, Jr.

It is definitely getting colder outside! Christmas is just around the corner, and 2009 will be over before we know it.

Thanks to many of our generous donors, the National Right to Life Educational Trust Fund is happy to announce that Autos for Life is well on the way to meeting our challenge of 50 donated vehicles by December 31, 2009. But we still need your help!

Remember, every vehicle donated to Autos for Life raises lifesaving funds that the National Right to Life Educational Trust Fund depends on to advance our cause and save the most defenseless in our society. Don’t miss this opportunity to qualify for a tax deduction by donating your used vehicle. There is still time for you to participate this year! All vehicles donated by December 31, 2009, will qualify for a tax deduction for the full sale amount!

Autos for Life can turn any vehicle—car, truck, van, camper, trailer, boat, or jet ski—into lifesaving dollars that always go directly to helping the National Right to Life Educational Trust Fund spread the truth about abortion and defend the lives of unborn babies. Recently we have received:

  • 1990 Chevrolet Caprice Classic from a pro-life World War II veteran of the battle of Iwo Jima

  • 1997 Ford conversion van from a pro-life family in Virginia

  • 1996 Toyota Corolla from pro-life supporters in Connecticut

  • 1999 Chevrolet ¾ ton truck from a pro-life family in Massachusetts

  • 1993 Mitsubishi Eclipse from pro-life supporters in Maryland

We are so grateful to all of our generous donors who have already contributed vehicles to Autos for Life, and we invite the rest of you to come on board and help us meet our challenge!

All that we need from you is a description (miles, VIN number, condition, features, the good, the bad, etc.) along with several pictures (the more, the better), and we’ll take care of the rest! Digital photos are preferred, but other formats work as well.

You don’t have to bring the vehicle anywhere, or do anything with it—and there’s no additional paperwork to complete. The buyer picks the vehicle up directly from you at your convenience—and again, you receive a tax deduction for the full sale amount!

If you or someone you know has a vehicle to donate, please contact David O’Steen, Jr., at (202) 626-8823 or dojr@nrlc.org.  If you prefer, you can send all the vehicle information by regular mail to Autos for Life, c/o National Right to Life, 512 10th St., NW, Washington, DC 20004.

Again, vehicles can be of any age and located anywhere in the country. Thank you for all you are doing for unborn babies!
