About three hundred Vermonters braved the cold weather to Rally for Life in the capitol of Montpelier on January 15th. Participants walked from City Hall to the Statehouse, gathering on the Statehouse steps. Emcee Joanna Bisceglio welcomed the participants. After James Dunlap sang “God Bless America,” members of Teens for Life rang a bell fifty times in remembrance of the 50 million unborn children killed by abortion since the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision.

The pro-lifers then went inside the Statehouse, where they heard from featured speaker author, Erika Bachiochi. She spoke about pro-life feminism, and the negative impact of abortion on women. The event concluded with a light lunch provided by members of Washington County Right to Life.
