Nebraska Sponsors Walk for Life,
Draws Over 4,000
Over
4,000 Nebraskans attended the annual Nebraska Walk for Life
sponsored by Nebraska Right to Life on January 29th at the State
Capitol in Lincoln. Governor Dave Heineman and Speaker of the
Legislature Mike
Flood reminded the crowd that
abortionist LeRoy Carhart, who specializes in abortions late in
pregnancy, has taken his business out of Nebraska due to passage
of the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act in the last
session.
Information was passed out about
Nebraska Right to Life's priority legislation, LB 521, the “Stop
Web Cam Abortions” bill. 350 pink and blue balloons were
released to music in memory of the millions of unborn aborted.
After walking eight blocks to the
University of Nebraska-Lincoln Student Union, attendees packed
two large rooms inside to hear keynote speaker Melissa Ohden.
Ohden is the survivor of a 1977 saline abortion. |
