Entertainment Weekly has breathlessly reported that MTV "will tackle the sensitive issue of abortion with a separate special called No Easy Decision, EW has learned exclusively." The date for the airing is December 28 and the hook is that the special will follow Markai, one of the young women profiled in the MTV series 16 and Pregnant, "as she wrestles with the decision after becoming pregnant for a second time."

I have not followed 16 and Pregnant, but on the occasions I ran across the show, what I saw was riveting viewing--"teen mothers' heart-wrenching stories" as EW described the series (and Teen Mom as well).

All we have to go on at this point are shards from EW which include, "Dr. Drew Pinsky will also talk with young women who, like 27 percent of teens who end up with unplanned pregnancies, have chosen to end them."

Reading the summaries ("recaps") about the shows dealing with Markai, it doesn't require a clinical psychologist to predict that she would become pregnant again.
