Gosnell “Exceeds All Bounds of Decency,”
But Will it Make Any Difference to Pro-Abortionists?

By Dave Andrusko

When the massive number of people who constitute the March for Life arrived at the Supreme Court today, off to the right stood a forlorn cadre of about a dozen pro-abortionists holding up their “Keep Abortion Legal” signs. Imagine having to promote that less than a week after the abortionist Kermit Gosnell scandal broke.

While not easy work, I suspect for what Eric Hoffer once memorably described as the “True Believer,” nothing can dampen their enthusiasm for keeping the death machines running full-bore. Not eight murder charges against Gosnell and sundry associates; not conditions that even a slumlord would find appalling; not charges by a former patient that women were so doped-up by Gosnell et al. that they “were slumped over and waiting in line like they were going into a soup kitchen.”

I often write the following, then ignore my own advice. This time I won’t. I will write no more than 143 words about an article that you absolute must read.

It is headlined, “Kermit Gosnell's Pro-Choice Enablers (Is This What an Industry That Self-Regulates Looks Like?)” and it is written by Melinda Henneberger, editor in chief of Politics Daily (http://www.politicsdaily.com/2011/01/23/kermit-gosnells-pro-choice-enablers-how-clinics-become-death-t).

By now pro-abortionist must have concluded that the Gosnell affair constitutes the Perfect Storm. What Henneberger describes as “The ultimate non-partisan body – a criminal grand jury”-- produces a scathing indictment that lays out a pattern of cruelty, indifference, criminal conduct, and an ultra-accommodating state medical bureaucracy that doesn’t even make a pretense at “regulating” abortion in general, Gosnell in particular.

On top of that Gosnell applies for membership in the National Abortion Federation (NAF), an abortion trade organization.

“It was the worst abortion clinic she [the inspector for NAF] had ever inspected,” the Grand Jury reported. “ Of course, she rejected Gosnell's application. She just never told anyone in authority about all the horrible, dangerous things she had seen.”

Read Henneberger’s incredible piece, which connects all the dots (http://www.politicsdaily.com/2011/01/23/kermit-gosnells-pro-choice-enablers-how-clinics-become-death-t).

My strong suspicion is the Abortion Industry is petrified by the Gosnell scandal. They ought to be.
