The
Powell Center for Medical Ethics is dedicated to the memory of
longtime NRLC Vice President Robert Powell, a Texan with a
disability who served as a pro-life champion in leading the struggle
to protect the lives of people with disabilities and older people
from euthanasia. The Powell Center for Medical Ethics serves as
NRLC’s arm in fighting to protect the vulnerable born from both
direct killing and denial of lifesaving medical treatment, food and
fluids. (For more on Robert Powell click

Many
people outside the pro-life movement do not know that from its
beginning in 1973, The National Right to Life Committee has opposed
infanticide and euthanasia with the same determination and vigor
with which it fights abortion. |
