Since the Roe v. Wade decision in 1973, abortion has taken the lives of
nearly
43 million unborn children. We are the first generation of survivors. We
are the ones who escaped death by legal abortions. Forty percent of all abortions
are performed on women our age. Thus, we are the most affected and effective voice
for the unborn.
Pro-life students often provide the only positive voice a pregnant woman hears
on a college campus- that she doesn’t have to abort her child, that there are
alternatives. Pro-life students must confront their classmates and professors
when pro-abortion rhetoric goes unchallenged. Pro-life students are also the face
of the pro-life movement on their campuses, challenging stereotypes and presenting
themselves as resources to their friends and classmates.
