"No one can give me the right to do what is wrong."
     --Abraham Lincoln

Since 1973, America has sacrificed 48 million of her children to convenience. The children of Roe v. Wade, the millions born after the tragic decision that legalized abortion on demand, have suffered the consequences. One third of this generation has been aborted. They are our sisters and brothers, our friends and children.

We have witnessed the devaluing of life at all levels- beyond the unborn, to the elderly, the infirm, and people with disabilities. Our nation has moved from the belief that life has inherent value to a “quality of life” ethic that judges a person’s worth based on arbitrary standards of value and productivity. This has lead to an environment where children with Downs Syndrome and other illnesses are targeted for abortion, people with disabilities are denied medical treatment, and older Americans are viewed as burdens.

National Teens for Life and National College Students for Life have come together as the Youth Outreach of the
National Right to Life Committee in order to fight this culture of death pervading our society. We believe that this generation- the generation most directly affected by abortion- can be a powerful and effective voice for the protection of life. We are working to ensure that the future leaders of America hold firm to the conviction that all human life is valuable and worthy of protection.

We adhere to the principles that have guided the National Right to Life Committee since 1973. Believing that issues affecting life are the most important issues facing our nation, we focus our energies on eliminating abortion, euthanasia, and infanticide. Our language and actions are consistent with the principles of non-violence. We engage in only peaceful, legal activities to seek protection of the right to life. We affirm that pro-life citizens have the same rights of free speech as any other citizen of the United States.

National Teens for Life and National College Students for Life accept the responsibility of speaking up for those unable to speak for themselves by working to end abortion on demand. We are the Children of Roe- the “abortion generation.” But we are fighting back- fighting to ensure that our children and our children’s children have a hope for the future.
